SINGAPORE, 05 May 2014 - Beautex, a well-known household tissue brand hopes to inspire the creativity and imagination of local children through the annual charity art contest to raise funds for The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund (SPMF). Teaming up with Sentosa Leisure Management this year, the 6th Beautex “Life's Beautiful” Art Competition will be held at Sentosa on 14 June 2014, the top three winning artworks from each categories will be printed on the limited edition Beautex tissue box and for every pack sold, 20 cents will be donated to the SPMF.
Following the success of art competition 2013, which drew an overwhelming response from students throughout Singapore, Beautex has set a higher target for 2014 and is aiming to raise $15,000 or more to enable the SPMF to provide pocket money to children from low-income families.

The art competition will be held at Palawan Beach, Sentosa from 8:30am to 2pm, and is open to all primary school students. It is only limited to 300 participants and interested parties are encouraged to register early online at www.tipex.com.sg/artcom to avoid disappointment. A registration fee of $5 will be collected and all proceeds will go to the SPMF.
